Responsibilities

  • Coordinate ICT procurement activities from purchase requisition review through delivery and payment
  • Prepare RFx documents, purchase orders, evaluation support and goods and invoice verification
  • Advise requisitioners and staff on procurement processes, specifications and documentation
  • Support procurement workflows, internal controls and compliance with IOM procedures
  • Conduct market research and maintain information on vendors and suppliers
  • Track and update the ICT Department procurement plan across the procurement-to-pay cycle
  • Support payment requests, vendor issue resolution and follow-up on pending actions
  • Maintain procurement records and prepare reports for audits and management review

Requirements

  • University degree in business administration, accounting, logistics, supply chain management or a related field with three years of relevant professional experience, or high school diploma with five years
  • Demonstrated advanced use of Microsoft Office applications
  • Proven experience working with Enterprise Resource Planning systems
  • Proven experience with public sector procurement and logistics rules and procedures, including those applied in international organisations such as the United Nations
  • Demonstrated experience in accounting systems, software and financial procedures
  • Fluency in English is required
  • Right of residence and right to work in Spain are required
