Overview

The associate will support procurement, logistics, vendor management, asset administration, fleet coordination and common services for IOM Algeria projects under the supervision of the supply chain and resources management teams.

Responsibilities

  • Receive and verify procurement requisitions and ensure required information and approvals are complete
  • Prepare tender documents, solicit bids, support evaluation and prepare purchase or contract documentation
  • Monitor purchase orders, deliveries, vendor invoices and payment requests with finance colleagues
  • Maintain procurement records, conduct market surveys and support supplier evaluation
  • Support asset management, warehousing, fleet operations, tax exemption follow-up and meeting logistics

Requirements

  • University degree in business administration, accounting, logistics, supply chain management or a related field with 3 years of relevant experience, or high school diploma with 5 years of relevant experience
  • Experience in procurement and logistics and working with vendors and service providers
  • Experience with asset management processes
  • High level of computer literacy
  • Fluency in French and English
