Housekeepers Team Leader

The team leader supervises housekeeping and laundry services across ICRC premises in the Aden area, organizing staff, supplies, leave and safe working conditions while training team members, resolving minor facility issues and helping maintain clean, functional spaces for humanitarian operations.

Department: Aden Sub-Delegation

• Supervise housekeeping staff and provide basic training
• Coordinate cleaning and laundry work across assigned premises
• Plan team meetings, workloads and annual leave
• Monitor safe working conditions and adequate resources
• Resolve minor premises and material issues and escalate major concerns
• Purchase cleaning materials and optimize available supplies
• Perform housekeeping work when operationally required
• Coach housekeepers supporting other locations in the Aden area

• High school education
• More than two years of experience as a housekeeping team leader
• Intermediate written and spoken English
• People-management experience
• Knowledge of basic hygiene principles
• Yemeni nationality

• Open to Yemeni nationals only
• Resident contract at a 100 percent working rate
