Supports ICRC premises in Myitkyina through basic electrical, masonry, painting, carpentry and plumbing work, maintaining tools, water and sanitation systems, inspecting facilities, handling materials and emergency repairs and serving as deputy guard leader to sustain fire safety and site security when required.

Department: Premises Maintenance

• Perform basic electrical, masonry, painting, carpentry and plumbing maintenance
• Maintain and repair delegation and residence water-supply systems
• Support maintenance of water tanks and septic tanks with external specialists
• Inspect premises and report repair progress and skilled-resource needs
• Maintain tools, equipment, consumables and storage areas
• Load and unload maintenance materials and deliveries
• Support emergency repairs during equipment or facility breakdowns
• Act as deputy security guard leader and implement fire-safety procedures

• High-school education and a certificate in electrical work, facilities management or building services
• At least two years of experience in a similar field
• Basic computer skills
• Basic team-management and maintenance knowledge
• Basic English
• Good physical condition
• Ability to work in Myitkyina, Kachin State
