Overview
Leads NATO's defence-industry engagement agenda in Brussels. The section head implements cooperation strategy and the online industry platform, directs flagship forums and the NATO Industry Advisory Group, advises on policy, coordinates committees, manages knowledge and represents NATO with government, military and industry.

Responsibilities
- Implement NATO's cooperation strategy and online engagement platform for industry
- Direct the NATO Industry Forum and summit-level defence-industry events
- Guide and administer the NATO Industry Advisory Group
- Represent NATO at industry events and on industry-related topics
- Advise on industry cooperation and coordinate related policy bodies
- Monitor industrial developments relevant to NATO policy and capability work
- Manage section staff through feedback, coaching and development
- Maintain knowledge processes supporting industry decisions and initiatives
Requirements
- University degree or equivalent qualification
- At least six years of relevant professional experience including managerial experience
- Experience organising and coordinating multi-stakeholder and high-level events
- Experience drafting policy documents, background notes and speaking notes for senior management
- NATO language level V in either English or French and level II in the other
- Nationality of a NATO member country

- Appointment is pending budget approval
- Three-year definite-duration contract, renewable for up to three years
- Maximum foreseen service in the post is six years
- Travel or work outside normal hours may be required
