Overview
Provides project financial management services from ADB’s Pakistan Resident Mission. The officer leads financial due diligence, project and country-system assessments, audit and covenant monitoring, financing analysis, implementation support and client training that strengthen controls, reporting and fiduciary performance.

Responsibilities
- Review audited project and entity financial statements and follow-up actions
- Lead financial due diligence for project processing
- Assess costs, financing plans, sustainability, risks and financial covenants
- Monitor financial action plans and project implementation compliance
- Support country financial management system assessments and strategy work
- Maintain project financial data and advise implementing agencies
- Design and deliver financial management training and technical assistance
- Build audit-firm capacity for ADB-financed projects
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
- Professional accounting qualification from an internationally recognized institution affiliated with IFAC
- At least eight years of financial management experience in the public or private sector
- Knowledge of IFRS, ISA, COSO, auditing and investment project appraisal
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and database tools
- Spoken and written English proficiency
- Nationality or permanent residence of Pakistan
