Expert in Trafficking in Persons for Forced Labour in Supply Chains

Develops practical UNODC guidance for businesses and public authorities to prevent, identify and remedy trafficking for forced labour in supply chains. The consultancy combines evidence review, stakeholder consultation and technical drafting to translate due-diligence standards into operational tools and safeguards.

• Review evidence, standards and practices addressing trafficking and forced labour in supply chains
• Develop an annotated framework and practical guidance manual for businesses and public authorities
• Translate human-rights due-diligence expectations into risk indicators, checklists and remediation tools
• Consult public, private, civil-society, labour and survivor-informed stakeholders
• Prepare and facilitate an expert meeting and document responses to technical feedback
• Finalise the manual and recommend approaches for dissemination, piloting, monitoring and digital learning

• Advanced university degree in law, business and human rights or a related field, or a first-level degree with two additional years of qualifying experience
• At least seven years of progressively responsible experience addressing trafficking, forced labour, responsible business conduct, labour rights or supply-chain due diligence
• Experience researching and drafting substantial policy guidance, manuals, toolkits or due-diligence frameworks
• Experience translating legal, policy and technical standards into practical operational tools
• Experience engaging private-sector entities and supply-chain functions
• Fluency in oral and written English
• Ability to work independently in a remote multicultural environment
