Enumerators / Interviewers / Note Takers - Data Collection for School Management and Early Warning System (EWS) Pilot

Collects field data for the design and piloting of a School Management and Early Warning System in primary schools across the Sahrawi refugee camps, working with schools, teachers, students and community stakeholders.

• Collect quantitative and qualitative data from schools, teachers, students and community stakeholders
• Support field-level data collection for the School Management and Early Warning System pilot
• Conduct surveys, school assessments, interviews or focus group discussions
• Follow structured questionnaires and interview guides accurately
• Take notes and transcribe information from field activities
• Apply ethical data collection standards including confidentiality and informed consent
• Use tablets, mobile data collection tools and Excel for data collection

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Social Sciences, Statistics, Sociology or a related field
• Minimum two to three years of experience in field data collection, surveys or research support
• Experience conducting household surveys, school assessments, interviews or focus group discussions
• Familiarity with data collection tools, paper-based or digital such as Kobo, ODK or Excel
• Solid understanding of quantitative and qualitative data collection methodologies
• Arabic
• English or French

• Contract duration is three months
• Working arrangement is office based in the Education Section in Tindouf, Algeria
• This position is assessed as an elevated risk role for child safeguarding
