Responsibilities
- Develop energy policy and strategies for sustainable low-carbon development
- Lead government dialogue on structural and regulatory energy-sector reforms
- Identify and develop energy-transition lending, grants and technical assistance
- Administer projects and ensure technical, economic, financial and policy quality
- Guide procurement approaches and review bidding and consultant-selection documents
- Undertake upstream analysis and identify priority investment areas
- Build partnerships for knowledge, cofinancing and project opportunities
- Supervise and mentor junior staff
Requirements
- University degree or equivalent in engineering, economics, finance, business administration or a related field
- At least six years of relevant professional experience in energy policy, regulation and projects across public and private sectors
- At least two years of relevant experience outside ADB within the past five years
- Written and verbal proficiency in English
