Responsibilities

  • Develop energy policy and strategies for sustainable low-carbon development
  • Lead government dialogue on structural and regulatory energy-sector reforms
  • Identify and develop energy-transition lending, grants and technical assistance
  • Administer projects and ensure technical, economic, financial and policy quality
  • Guide procurement approaches and review bidding and consultant-selection documents
  • Undertake upstream analysis and identify priority investment areas
  • Build partnerships for knowledge, cofinancing and project opportunities
  • Supervise and mentor junior staff

Requirements

  • University degree or equivalent in engineering, economics, finance, business administration or a related field
  • At least six years of relevant professional experience in energy policy, regulation and projects across public and private sectors
  • At least two years of relevant experience outside ADB within the past five years
  • Written and verbal proficiency in English
