Responsibilities
- Coordinate emergency preparedness and response activities for the Venezuela earthquake operation
- Lead rapid assessments of evolving humanitarian needs affecting children and families
- Coordinate response priorities with government, United Nations and non-governmental partners
- Support resource mobilisation for timely delivery of life-saving assistance
- Track operational needs and help align the response with UNICEF humanitarian commitments
Requirements
- Relevant advanced university degree or accepted equivalent qualification
- At least five years of relevant professional experience consistent with the published P-3 level
- Ability to lead emergency preparedness and response work in a complex humanitarian setting
