ECE EHLM Internship

Supports UNECE’s Energy, Housing and Land Management Division with research, data analysis and meeting services across sustainable energy, security, efficiency and transition topics, helping prepare studies, outreach content, documentation and databases for intergovernmental and expert work.

Department: Energy, Housing and Land Management Division

• Support intergovernmental and expert meetings on sustainable energy topics
• Conduct research and data analysis for studies and short articles
• Prepare social-media and outreach content
• Collect data and prepare technical documentation
• Draft reports and provide meeting support
• Update UNECE databases and programme records

• Current or completed graduate study, or current or completed final-year undergraduate study
• Academic background in energy, sustainable development, economics, international relations or an equivalent field
• Fluency in spoken and written English
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Teams

• In-person full-time internship of four to six months
• Expected period: 15 September 2026 to 15 March 2027
• Unpaid internship; travel, visa, accommodation and living costs are the intern’s responsibility
