Responsibilities

  • Develop a theory of change for the shift from cash to digital payments
  • Assess socio-economic impacts of digital payments
  • Prepare legal and regulatory landscape analysis
  • Co-produce knowledge products with academic and research institutions
  • Document lessons and case studies from pilot initiatives
  • Generate policy recommendations on financial inclusion and digital transitions
  • Facilitate regional knowledge exchange with COMESA, SADC and ECOWAS

Requirements

  • Advanced university degree in economics, public policy, development studies, finance, digital innovation or a related field, or bachelor's degree with two additional years of experience
  • Minimum five years of experience with a master's degree or seven years with a bachelor's degree in digital finance, financial inclusion or related areas
  • Proven experience developing theories of change, knowledge products and policy briefs
  • Fluency in English is required
