Responsibilities
- Support the Head of Office on managing the office and act as Officer in Charge when needed
- Manage operations support across budget, finance, risk, facilities, administration, supply, ICT, human resources and security
- Represent organisational risk, governance systems and policy perspectives in senior management discussions
- Advise on country programme business needs, challenges and value-for-money strategies
- Guide supply and logistics strategies to meet programme needs and advise governments and partners
- Strengthen risk management, internal controls, fraud prevention and business continuity
- Optimise operational systems, shared services and office processes for efficiency
- Lead operations staff development, succession planning and a fit-for-purpose workforce
Requirements
- Advanced university degree in business management, financial management, accounting, public finance or a related operations function, or a full professional accounting designation with valid membership
- At least thirteen years of national and international professional experience advocating and implementing strategic organisational initiatives in operations management
- Experience in budget, financial management and reporting, facilities management, administration, supply and logistics, ICT or human resources
- Previous hands-on experience in strategic and managerial leadership
- Experience in results-based management
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications
- Fluency in English
