Responsibilities
- Provide expert advice and analytical inputs for Member State deliberations on lunar activities
- Draft statements, briefing elements, analytical notes and other lunar-governance documentation
- Lead organisation of the 2026 UNOOSA Lunar Conference with the Office of the Director
- Design multilateral and multi-stakeholder discussions on lunar safety and sustainability
- Prepare the conference final report and agreed follow-up documentation
- Develop an implementation plan for the Intergenerational Dialogue on Space
- Serve as co-focal point and provide expert support for delivery of the dialogue
Requirements
- Advanced university degree in international space law, diplomacy, international relations or international law, or a first-level degree in one of these fields with two additional years of qualifying experience
- Minimum five years of experience in space law, space diplomacy or international relations, with relevant advanced degrees or leadership volunteering accepted in lieu of up to two years
- Advanced specialised knowledge of lunar activities and policies
- Excellent research and oral and written communication skills
- Fluency in written and spoken English
