Community Volunteer, Social and Behaviour Change for Immunization

The community volunteers support vaccination demand and uptake in Cotonou by implementing social and behaviour change plans, finding zero-dose and under-immunized children, mobilizing community networks, tracking health-zone activities and documenting evidence that improves routine immunization outreach.

Department: Child Survival and Development Section

• Implement and monitor vaccination social and behaviour change activities
• Track communication indicators across participating health facilities
• Help identify and vaccinate zero-dose and under-immunized children
• Facilitate community co-creation sessions for routine immunization
• Map community organizations, influencers and partnership opportunities
• Coordinate health authorities, community leaders, media and programme partners
• Conduct field visits and report implementation problems and progress
• Document practices, stories and lessons for programme improvement

• Secondary-school baccalaureate
• At least two years of experience planning, implementing and monitoring communication and community-engagement activities for immunization and community health
• Residence in the intervention department or municipality
• French proficiency

• Five full-time community volunteer assignments
• Applicants must reside in the intervention department or municipality
• Monthly living allowance of XOF 213,466.66
