Responsibilities

  • Assess applicants for assisted voluntary return eligibility and needs
  • Interview migrants and maintain accurate case records
  • Coordinate return documentation, flights and country-of-origin support
  • Provide follow-up and airport accompaniment throughout the return process
  • Deliver psychological first aid and individual psychosocial support
  • Refer physical and mental health needs to specialised services
  • Conduct border-area missions and group psychosocial interventions

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in psychology with four years of relevant experience
  • Current registration with the Professional Association of Psychologists of Costa Rica
  • At least four years of experience working with vulnerable populations
  • Fluency in spoken and written Spanish and English
  • Valid residence and work authorisation in Costa Rica
  • Curriculum vitae with three references and evidence of degree and professional registration
