Supports UNHAS aviation operations in Mazar-i-Sharif by handling passenger, cargo, safety, security, reporting and administrative processes that keep WFP field flights operating safely and reliably.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare passenger manifests, flight packages and check-in documentation for UNHAS flights
  • Coordinate passenger, cargo, baggage and pouch handling with crews and aviation staff
  • Maintain communications with the Air Operations Coordination Centre and UNHAS radio base on flight days
  • Share tickets, booking confirmations, schedule changes and cargo notifications with agency focal points
  • Monitor aircraft refuelling and coordinate with fuel suppliers on Jet A1 or TS1 availability
  • Maintain flight operations filing, reporting, handover notes, aviation library materials and safety advisories
  • Inspect passengers, cargo, baggage and pouches and support aviation security and ramp safety measures

Requirements

  • Completion of secondary school education
  • Minimum four years of experience in the aviation industry or passenger and cargo transportation fields
  • Fluency in English
  • Fluency in oral and written Pashto and Dari
  • Computer literacy
