Summary of Responsibilities
- Coordinate compliant budget and programming processes
- Review and release budgets with complete supporting documentation
- Analyse funding shortfalls and support donor proposals
- Review commodity pipelines, allocations and advance-financing requests
- Advise spending units on compliant and timely fund utilization
- Consolidate inputs for resource committees and donor reports
- Supervise and train a small budget and programming team
Role Requirements
- Advanced university degree in business administration, statistics, finance, economics or another relevant field
- At least seven years of postgraduate experience including three years in budget and programming, programme management or capacity building
- Fluency in English
- Fluency in Arabic as the duty-station language
Desired Criteria
- Professional training in project management, statistical analysis, operational planning or management is desirable
