Responsibilities

  • Define and implement the FCC regulatory authorisation strategy in France and Switzerland
  • Coordinate cross-functional regulatory working groups and escalate strategic issues
  • Lead development of land acquisition and property strategy with stakeholders
  • Prepare regulatory documentation for permits, authorisations, exemptions and safety approvals
  • Contribute to project reviews and monitor the regulatory master schedule
  • Produce consolidated reporting on regulatory progress, indicators, risks and dashboards

Requirements

  • Significant experience managing regulatory authorisation and permitting processes for major infrastructure projects in France or Switzerland, including land acquisition and property matters
  • Proven experience managing complex projects with multiple institutional stakeholders
  • Experience designing and implementing regulatory compliance frameworks with technical, legal and institutional teams
  • Experience as a project owner or providing project definition and governance support for complex projects
  • Master's degree or equivalent relevant experience in engineering, law, urban planning, spatial planning, regional planning or a related field
  • Spoken and written French with commitment to learn English
  • Nationality of a CERN Member State or Associate Member State, excluding specified ceiling-restricted nationalities for 2026
