The intern will support UNODC's Corruption and Financial Crime Branch with legal research, document review, correspondence, project activities and analysis related to anti-corruption, trafficking in persons and financial crime workstreams.

Responsibilities
- Conduct legal research into states' implementation of the UN Convention against Corruption
- Conduct thematic research on the Convention and other relevant legal frameworks
- Review legal documents, papers and materials to identify issues, similarities and inconsistencies
- Draft correspondence to States Parties as required
- Support implementation of project activities, workshops, awareness-raising events and intergovernmental work
- Assist financial crime and anti-corruption workstreams depending on interests and qualifications
Requirements
- Applicants must be enrolled in or have recently completed a graduate school programme, or be enrolled in or have completed the final academic year of a first university degree programme
- Official written proof from the university supporting eligibility must be attached to the Inspira application
- Field of study must be closely related to the internship
- Fluency in English

- Internship is unpaid and full-time
- Interns work five days per week, 40 hours, under supervision in the assigned branch
- Expected duration: three to six months
