Responsibilities
- Assess the Ukrenergo reporting system against ISO37002 and EU Directive 2019/1937
- Support NABU in implementing recommendations from earlier whistle-blowing assessments
- Advise SARDI on implementation of assessment recommendations and revised policy development
- Review and propose amendments to internal reporting mechanisms and policies in a selected border-management agency
- Draft advice and policy inputs on whistle-blower protection and reporting systems
- Consult with UNODC thematic leads and relevant team members on deliverables
Requirements
- Advanced university degree in law, social science or a subject closely related to anti-corruption or crime prevention, or first-level degree with 2 additional years of qualifying experience
- At least 10 years of progressively responsible experience in law, research, policy-making or advisory services with emphasis on anti-corruption, whistle-blowing, ethics or integrity issues
- At least 7 years of working experience in whistle-blowing
- Demonstrated understanding of international and EU legal frameworks and practices in anti-corruption, transparency in governance and whistle-blower protection
- Fluency in oral and written English is required
