WBG Pioneer – Research Intern

Conducts legal and policy research for the World Bank’s Women, Business and the Law project. The intern reviews laws, codes indicator evidence, validates surveys, analyzes results, recruits expert respondents, develops briefs and presentations, and maintains verified country profiles and traceable research records.

• Research laws and policies affecting women’s economic participation
• Code indicator evidence from legislation and primary sources
• Validate expert survey responses against legal sources
• Maintain verified country profiles and source traceability
• Analyze project data and prepare briefs, blogs and presentations
• Recruit local experts and manage respondent outreach
• Support knowledge products on legal gender equality and economic growth
• Translate project documents and maintain contributor networks
