WBG Pioneer - Investment Analyst Intern

Supports IFC investment activities in Central Africa through market and financial analysis, business development and transaction execution, helping identify and advance private-sector investment opportunities.

Department: IFC Douala Office

• Analyse markets, industries, finances and strategy to evaluate investment opportunities
• Map priority sectors, prospective clients, sponsors, value chains and investment trends
• Evaluate business models, operating performance, financial statements, ownership structures and development impact
• Build debt and equity financial models and support transaction structuring
• Prepare Early Look notes, Concept Notes and other internal investment documentation
• Collaborate with investment and cross-functional teams to advance transactions under IFC procedures
• Document market intelligence, transaction insights and lessons learned
