WBG Pioneer - Research and Data Analysis Intern

Provides research, data analysis and professional support to IFC investment officers working on business development, transactions and portfolio supervision for financial-sector investments in Central Asia.

• Support financial-sector business development across Central Asia
• Assist investment officers with transaction completion and project structuring
• Support supervision of loan, structured-finance, quasi-equity and equity portfolios
• Conduct research, market analysis and data analysis for investment work
• Prepare strategy presentations and project documentation
• Provide analytical and professional support requiring evaluation and original thinking

• Knowledge and effective application of fundamental business concepts and practices
• English proficiency

• The internship supports the Financial Institutions Group's Central Asia team
