Impact Measurement Verification and Learning Manager

Leads UNCDF impact measurement, verification and learning for blended finance investments, turning portfolio evidence into strategy, assurance, accountability and organisational learning.

Department: Impact Measurement Verification and Learning

• Generate impact intelligence for investment strategy, pipeline development and portfolio performance
• Develop impact theses, briefs, research outputs and learning products for UNCDF investments
• Lead impact verification, data quality audits and assurance protocols
• Manage impact data platforms, governance standards, dashboards and interoperability requirements
• Prepare impact reports and briefing materials for leadership, donors, investors and governance bodies
• Coordinate with investment teams, investees, donors and partners on impact measurement capacity
• Lead and mentor a small team delivering analytical and technical outputs

• Advanced university degree in Finance, Economics, International Development or a related field, or bachelor degree with two additional years of qualifying experience
• Minimum 10 years with master degree or 12 years with bachelor degree of progressively responsible international finance and development experience, including senior-level experience
• Experience with financial modelling and transaction structuring, including loans and guarantees
• Experience in underwriting, due diligence and structuring processes for bankable projects in developing countries
• Experience designing and implementing impact management frameworks and portfolio management tools within development finance institutions
• Fluency in English
