WASH Consultant for Planning, Implementation and Monitoring of WASH Projects

Provides engineering support for climate-resilient WASH projects across Rwandan communities, schools, early-childhood centres and health facilities. The consultancy develops designs and risk tools, validates specifications, monitors construction quality and guides government partners.

• Develop climate-resilient WASH designs, bills of quantities and implementation plans
• Create climate-risk assessment tools and adaptation guidance
• Review bills of quantities and technical specifications
• Guide government partners on procurement of WASH goods and services
• Monitor implementation quality, safety and timelines in the field
• Build partner capacity to deliver climate-resilient WASH services
• Prepare progress and HACT compliance reports

• University degree in civil, water or environmental engineering or a related engineering discipline
• At least five years of relevant WASH-sector experience
• English and Kinyarwanda are required
• Applicants must be nationals of Rwanda

• Three-month office-based consultancy with travel required
