Project Manager

Leads delivery of UNOPS infrastructure projects in Panama City, controlling scope, cost, schedule, quality, risk and benefits. The manager prepares implementation and monitoring plans, coordinates designs, procurement, stakeholders and teams, assures compliance, and reports technical and financial performance.

• Develop project implementation plans, milestones and baselines
• Deliver infrastructure outputs within approved tolerances
• Coordinate designs, suppliers, procurement and work-package acceptance
• Monitor results, budgets, risks and changes
• Manage stakeholders, reporting, teams and quality reviews

• Master’s degree in a relevant field with five years of experience, or a bachelor’s degree with seven years
• Infrastructure project experience involving buildings, bridges, roads, energy or solar energy
• Experience with complex projects or programmes
• Native Spanish proficiency
• Intermediate English proficiency

• Appointment runs through 31 December 2026 with possible renewal
• Open to local candidates or candidates allowed to reside in Panama
