Summary of Responsibilities
- Produce six campaign videos in English, Spanish and French from supplied footage and scripts
- Edit interviews and event recordings into short vertical videos and social-media reels
- Add subtitles, on-screen text, music, transitions and motion graphics
- Adapt videos for LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube and the BIOFIN website
- Apply UNDP and BIOFIN branding, accessibility and editorial standards
- Incorporate feedback and submit final videos with editable project files
Role Requirements
- Demonstrated experience editing videos for digital or social-media platforms
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, CapCut or equivalent editing software
- Ability to transform interviews, event footage and longer content into concise short-form narratives
- Knowledge of vertical, square and landscape formats and social-media production requirements
- Ability to work independently, manage files carefully and meet agreed deadlines
- Strong written and spoken English, Spanish and French across the three volunteer assignments
- Portfolio links to two or three edited videos and confirmation of suitable equipment, software, internet access and availability
Desired Criteria
- Experience producing explainer videos or motion graphics
- Experience with international organisations, nonprofits, development initiatives or advocacy campaigns
- Familiarity with biodiversity, climate, sustainable development or environmental communications
