Responsibilities
- Provide substantive support to the implementation of external communication and outreach/advocacy strategies and plans:
- Support the implementation of UN Women communication strategies, advocacy and outreach plans and activities in coordination with the Communications & Media Specialist, ensuring gender perspective;
- Supports the integration of communication, advocacy and outreach strategies into proposals for project/programmes and other initiatives, as necessary;
- Monitor and analyze print and social media and provide analysis to MCO;
- Assist in the creation and scheduling of social media content, including posts, captions, graphics and short videos aligned with corporate guidelines;
- Provide inputs and support to the launch of in-country UN Women/ UN system corporate and local campaigns and special events.
- Coordinate and contribute substantively to the development and dissemination of advocacy materials:
Requirements
- Support organizing roundtable discussions, press conferences and briefing session for press, as required;
- Upload information to knowledge management system on a regular basis, including news, updates, resources.
- Support knowledge management and documentation of communications activities:
- Assist in compiling and organizing communications materials, publications, media coverage and digital assets for internal records and knowledge management systems.
