Responsibilities

  • Exercise limited contracting authority for assigned procurement portfolios
  • Review technical specifications, bidding instructions and contract clauses
  • Lead competitive bidding, bidder conferences, inspections and contract-award processes
  • Evaluate bids and implement Contract Award Committee decisions
  • Enter contractual obligations on behalf of NSATU within delegated authority
  • Resolve contractor claims and disputes with legal support where required
  • Manage supplier relationships and oversee buyers and contract administrators
  • Support deployments and temporary assignments when required

Requirements

  • Holds a university degree in supply chain management, commercial law, logistics, inventory management, procurement or a related field with two years of relevant experience, or an eligible vocational qualification with four years of relevant experience
  • Has at least two years of contract-management experience
  • Has two years of professional acquisition experience leading procurement activity and negotiating complex contracts
  • Is proficient in English at NATO SLP 3333
  • Can hold the required NATO contracting warrant
