Responsibilities
- Exercise limited contracting authority for assigned procurement portfolios
- Review technical specifications, bidding instructions and contract clauses
- Lead competitive bidding, bidder conferences, inspections and contract-award processes
- Evaluate bids and implement Contract Award Committee decisions
- Enter contractual obligations on behalf of NSATU within delegated authority
- Resolve contractor claims and disputes with legal support where required
- Manage supplier relationships and oversee buyers and contract administrators
- Support deployments and temporary assignments when required
Requirements
- Holds a university degree in supply chain management, commercial law, logistics, inventory management, procurement or a related field with two years of relevant experience, or an eligible vocational qualification with four years of relevant experience
- Has at least two years of contract-management experience
- Has two years of professional acquisition experience leading procurement activity and negotiating complex contracts
- Is proficient in English at NATO SLP 3333
- Can hold the required NATO contracting warrant
