Security Support

Provides operational safety and security support for FAO activities in Balochistan. The role monitors threats, coordinates with security actors and authorities, and helps maintain a secure operating environment for FAO personnel, assets and programme delivery.

Department: FAO Pakistan

• Develop, implement and review security management plans for FAO operations in Balochistan
• Conduct security risk assessments for programme locations, offices, field activities and operational modalities
• Monitor compliance with SRMM, ASRM, UNDSS and FAO security procedures
• Prepare security advisories, threat assessments and contextual analysis for FAO personnel and operations
• Maintain security information networks with UNDSS, authorities, law enforcement agencies and local communities
• Deliver security briefings, inductions and awareness sessions for personnel, consultants, visitors and mission staff
• Support emergency communication, medical evacuation, business continuity and warden-system arrangements

• Bachelor's degree from a recognised university, preferably in international relations, business administration, political science or social science
• Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience, preferably in law enforcement or a UNSMS security role
• Proficiency in spoken and written English with working knowledge of Urdu and local provincial languages
• Working knowledge of MS applications
• Nationality of Pakistan
