Responsibilities
- Support security contingency and business continuity planning for WFP facilities
- Liaise with UNDSS and the in-country security management apparatus on operational security matters
- Support country, area and field offices in meeting MOSS and MORSS compliance
- Manage facility access-control measures for WFP staff and visitors
- Support security budget management and procurement planning
- Manage security equipment issuance, serviceability and compliance with standards
- Collect information on local security developments and their operational impact
- Provide security orientation briefings and support security training activities
Requirements
- Advanced university degree in Security Management, International Relations, Law Enforcement or another relevant field, or first university degree with additional relevant experience or training
- Military or Police Academy diploma with qualifying relevant experience may be accepted in lieu of the first university degree
- At least one year of progressively responsible professional experience in security management or security risk management
- Background and interest in international humanitarian development
- Experience managing support staff
- Fluency in French and intermediate English
