Responsibilities
- Support communications that build awareness of advocacy for children affected by armed conflict
- Monitor and analyse media coverage relevant to the office’s mandate
- Draft and edit content for print, web, multimedia, events and publications
- Update the office website and social-media channels
- Organise United Nations events focused on children and armed conflict
Requirements
- Enrolment in or completion of a graduate programme, or enrolment in or completion of the final academic year of a bachelor’s programme
- Computer literacy in standard software applications including Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word and Microsoft Teams
- Experience using a content-management system such as WordPress or Drupal and design or editing software such as Canva
- Fluency in English
- Valid visa and employment authorisation for candidates undertaking the internship in the United States who are not citizens or permanent residents
