Responsibilities
- Screen civil-society registration applications for high-level United Nations events
- Analyse registration data and produce event participation statistics
- Create infographic reports, social-media cards, videos, event flyers and response forms
- Review civil-society submissions and compile content for the Civil Society newsletter
- Monitor the office mailbox and respond to stakeholder enquiries
- Support the NGLS annual report and coordinate event planning and logistics
- Provide technical support and prepare minutes during meetings
Requirements
- Current or completed graduate study, or enrolment in or completion of the final year of a bachelor's degree
- Field of study closely related to public information, communications or the internship work
- Standard software proficiency, particularly Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft Teams
- Fluency in spoken and written English
- Children or siblings of United Nations staff members are not eligible for this internship
