The officer guides community engagement, safe burials, WASH and infection control, assures service quality, coordinates authorities and partners, and strengthens Red Cross volunteer capacity.

Responsibilities
- Guide community engagement, safe burials, WASH and infection-control interventions
- Assess public-health needs in Ebola-affected communities
- Supervise service quality and monitor public-health activities
- Coordinate authorities, humanitarian partners and emergency response units
- Train and mentor National Society volunteers
Requirements
- Master’s degree in public health, health sciences or a related field
- At least three to five years of humanitarian or development experience focused on global health, epidemiology, surveillance or community health
- Experience in epidemic response and health-surveillance systems
- Fluency in French
- Good command of English
