Project Researcher

Supports ESCAP's work on cross-border electricity regulation by researching policy issues, organising the Asia-Pacific Regulatory Forum and helping deliver capacity building for ASEAN regulators. The contractor also creates written and visual communications that increase visibility and practical use of project activities.

• Coordinate stakeholders, partners and resource persons for the Asia-Pacific Regulatory Forum
• Prepare memos, briefing notes and agendas for internal and external meetings
• Research priority issues in power-system regulation and regional energy connectivity
• Support capacity-building activities for ASEAN regulators and other stakeholders
• Develop written content, infographics, posters and other communication materials
• Create digital products that showcase the initiative and its results

• University degree in economics, development, international relations, energy or a related field
• Good command of written and spoken English

• Individual Contractor appointment for nine months
