Streamlined Behavioral Science, Narrative Mapping & Communication Framework

The online volunteer will research Tanzania’s media and information environment, map audiences and trusted messengers, and apply behavioral science frameworks to climate narratives. The assignment will produce evidence-based messaging, stakeholder maps and a practical communication framework for UN coordination.

• Review Tanzania’s media landscape and document climate-related misinformation patterns
• Map priority audiences, stakeholders and trusted messengers
• Apply COM-B and EAST frameworks to behavioral barriers and communication choices
• Develop evidence-based message framing and narrative recommendations
• Present findings and hand over a practical communication framework

• Advanced degree or equivalent experience in behavioral science, social psychology, strategic communication or a related field
• Experience in desk research, qualitative analysis and stakeholder mapping
• Strong analytical writing capability in English
• Experience designing campaigns or behavior-change interventions

• Online volunteer assignment for 12 weeks
• Knowledge of Tanzania’s media, civil society and community context is an asset
