Responsibilities

  • Lead planning, implementation, monitoring and reporting for the regional project
  • Manage project staff, consultants, budgets, work plans and delivery risks
  • Coordinate technical work with ILO specialists, country offices and implementing partners
  • Build cooperation with governments, employers, workers, civil society and donors
  • Promote responsible business conduct, decent work and international labour standards in project activities
  • Represent the project in national, regional and international forums
  • Lead donor relations, resource mobilisation and visibility activities
  • Oversee knowledge products, reports, communications and project databases

Requirements

  • Advanced university degree in economics, social sciences, business administration, law or a relevant field, or a first-level university degree with two additional years of relevant experience
  • At least seven years of relevant professional experience, including regional or international experience implementing or technically supporting development cooperation activities related to responsible business conduct or related fields
  • Field experience in a leadership role for project implementation in responsible business conduct
  • Proven management experience with strong knowledge of all phases of the project cycle
  • Confirmed experience building partnerships and networks, mobilising resources, fundraising and managing donor relations
  • Solid knowledge of responsible business conduct issues in the region
  • Excellent command of English and good knowledge of French
