Technical Project Officer

Supports responsible business conduct project activities in Angola, Cameroon and the Democratic Republic of the Congo, coordinating technical delivery, partner engagement and knowledge products for decent work outcomes.

• Support technical implementation of responsible business conduct activities in assigned countries
• Coordinate technical communications with the European Union delegation and implementing organisations
• Implement project activities in line with ILO policies, procedures and work plans
• Organise meetings, workshops, training sessions and capacity-building activities
• Prepare terms of reference, concept notes, reports, presentations and technical materials
• Connect project activities with ILO programmes and relevant national and international institutions
• Maintain knowledge on responsible business conduct trends, good practices and lessons learned
• Support knowledge products, communication materials and project exit planning

• First-level university degree in economics, social sciences, business administration, law or a relevant field
• At least three years of experience implementing or technically supporting development cooperation activities and projects for decent work with ILO constituents
• Good knowledge of responsible business conduct issues in the region
• Excellent command of French and good knowledge of English

• Fixed-term technical cooperation appointment for one year, renewable subject to funding, continuing need and performance
