Programme Officer

Supports UNICEF programme planning, coordination, monitoring and reporting, working with government, implementing partners and UN stakeholders. The volunteer tracks delivery, strengthens documentation and knowledge management, and helps improve programme quality.

Department: Jordan Country Office

• Support programme planning, coordination and implementation against annual workplans and priorities
• Track progress, deliverables, indicators, targets, expenditures and budget utilization
• Prepare and quality-assure programme documents, reports, presentations, briefings and meeting materials
• Follow up with implementing partners and stakeholders on actions, deliverables and reporting
• Support monitoring, data collection, analysis and documentation of programme results
• Organize meetings, workshops, consultations, training and field visits and maintain action trackers
• Document lessons, good practices, innovations and achievements and support knowledge sharing
• Support community feedback mechanisms and capacity development for government counterparts

• At least three years of relevant professional experience in programme management, project coordination, monitoring and reporting, administration or related work
• Experience supporting programme planning, implementation and coordination
• Experience preparing reports, briefing notes, presentations and programme documentation
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
• Arabic and English are required

• National Specialist volunteer assignment via UNV
• The volunteer is responsible for arranging housing and other living essentials
