Responsibilities
- Support planning and implementation of complex programme and project initiatives
- Research, analyse and present programme, financial and operational information
- Coordinate project proposals, approvals, budgets and implementation actions
- Monitor budgets, expenditures, obligations, outputs and programme performance and initiate follow-up
- Prepare programme summaries, correspondence, reports, tables and data visualisations
- Coordinate administrative actions for recruitment, travel, training, procurement and payments
- Maintain project files, databases and corporate-system records and guide junior staff
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least seven years of programme or project administration, financial management, technical cooperation or related experience, reduced to five years with a first-level university degree or higher
- English proficiency at UN Level II in reading, writing, listening and speaking
- Authorisation to work for the United Nations in Hungary
