Programme Coordinator, Nigeria

Coordinates implementation of the EOF-LEAF Nigeria programme, supporting stakeholder engagement, governance, monitoring, verification and operational delivery for education access, retention and learning outcomes.

Department: Education Outcomes Fund

• Support the Country Lead in building relationships with government and championing outcomes-based education approaches
• Manage implementing-partner relationships and help resolve delivery challenges
• Facilitate stakeholder engagement with government, donors, implementing partners and programme teams
• Prepare logistics and content for programme governance meetings
• Coordinate programme activities and monitor progress against agreed plans and milestones
• Conduct site visits to observe implementation, gather feedback and assess safeguarding systems
• Coordinate results verification with evaluators and implementing partners
• Support operational processes including cost verification, financial checks, travel planning, procurement, communications and knowledge sharing

• Secondary school education is required
• Minimum seven years of relevant experience with secondary education, or three years with a bachelor degree, in project management, programme implementation or a related field is required
• Experience with stakeholder engagement and stakeholder management, preferably in the Nigerian education sector, is required
• Experience working with donors and international organisations in Nigeria development sector is required
• Fluency in English is required

• Duration: ongoing, subject to organisational requirements, funding availability and satisfactory performance
