Provides technical and programmatic support to UNICEF Madagascar on adolescent education and gender equality, helping strengthen inclusive, gender-responsive education programmes, field implementation, reporting and partner coordination.

Department: UNICEF Madagascar education and gender programme

• Support implementation of adolescent education and gender equality activities
• Document good practices, innovations and results from adolescent education and gender norm interventions
• Provide technical support to field offices on implementation and reporting for adolescent-centred interventions
• Support planning, logistics and administration for technical meetings and field missions
• Contribute to regular reporting and capitalization of inclusion and gender equality results
• Assist analyses, studies and evaluations on adolescent education and empowerment programmes
• Prepare advocacy materials including policy briefs, presentations and briefing notes
• Coordinate with technical and institutional partners to promote girls' education and empowerment

• At least three years of professional experience in education, gender, social development or child protection, with interest in adolescent education
• Experience collaborating with and providing technical support to institutional or community teams and partners
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, including drafting technical documents and reports
• Good knowledge of adolescent education, gender equality, socio-cultural barriers, gender-based violence and school retention challenges
• Strong computer skills including MS Office, internet navigation and ideally data management or monitoring and evaluation
• French fluency

• Volunteer assignment via UNV
• Based in Antananarivo with possible field missions to remote regions
• Living conditions include basic urban services with possible water, electricity, traffic and pollution constraints
