Provides safe road and river transport for ICRC field teams, people and supplies around Quibdó, maintaining vehicles, boats and communications equipment, preparing movements and logistics, monitoring routes and security conditions, cultivating local contacts and explaining the ICRC mandate to communities.

• Drive vehicles and operate boats safely under ICRC, traffic and navigation rules
• Assess route and security conditions with the field team before movements
• Maintain vehicles, boats, fuel, safety equipment, tools and required documents
• Prepare field-trip materials, movement plans, routes and work authorizations
• Maintain local contacts and share security and mobility information with the field team
• Operate HF, VHF, mobile and satellite communications during field movements
• Report accidents, technical failures and equipment losses immediately
• Support field purchases, payments, messaging, loading and office moves

• Valid category B, C or equivalent driving licence
• Valid river or maritime pilot permit or licence
• Basic automotive-mechanics knowledge
• Knowledge of local roads, traffic rules, river routes, currents and water levels
• Legal authorization to work in Colombia for applicants who are not Colombian nationals

• Open-ended local contract at full-time activity rate
• Immediate start
• Applicants without Colombian nationality must already hold legal authorization to work in Colombia
