National Consultant, Nutrition Social and Behaviour Change Programming

Strengthens nutrition-focused social and behaviour change programming in Myanmar by mapping interventions, harmonising strategies and messages, training partners, improving behavioural indicators and coordinating campaigns so maternal and child nutrition services use consistent, evidence-based approaches.

Department: Nutrition and Social and Behaviour Change

• Map nutrition social and behaviour change interventions and identify behavioural and implementation gaps
• Develop a harmonised nutrition behaviour-change framework, audience segments and message package
• Update training modules and facilitate training of trainers for implementing partners
• Mentor frontline nutrition workers and integrate behaviour-change methods into service delivery
• Develop behavioural indicators and strengthen monitoring and data-collection tools
• Coordinate nutrition campaigns, technical working groups and partner learning
• Document good practices and contribute to programme reviews and donor reports

• University degree in public health, nutrition, social and behavioural sciences, health communication, anthropology or a related field
• At least seven years of experience designing and implementing social and behaviour change programmes
• Experience in formative research, behavioural analysis, audience segmentation and communication-material development
• Fluency in Burmese
• Advanced spoken and written English
• Myanmar nationality

• Office-based national consultancy with travel in Myanmar
