National Animal Health Data Management Assistant

FAO Lao PDR seeks a National Animal Health Data Management Assistant to support animal health, laboratory and AMR/AMU data systems including InFARM, LAHIS, ANIMUSE and LIMS. The role covers data collection, validation, analysis, dashboard development and technical support to national and sub-national users.

Department: FAO Representation Lao PDR

• Support implementation and operation of animal health information systems (InFARM, LAHIS, ANIMUSE, LIMS)
• Collect, validate, clean and manage animal health, laboratory, surveillance and AMR/AMU data
• Coordinate with government departments and laboratories on data entry and reporting
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting to system users
• Develop data management tools, templates, dashboards and reporting systems
• Support analysis and visualization of surveillance and laboratory data
• Support training, workshops and development of SOPs and guidelines

• University degree in Veterinary Medicine, Animal Health, Environmental Science, Information Technology, Computer Science, Public Health, Epidemiology, Data Science, Statistics or related field
• At least 2 years of relevant professional experience in data management, surveillance systems, laboratory information systems or animal health programmes
• National of Lao PDR
