Multimedia and Graphic Design Consultant

Creates multimedia and graphic-design products for UNEP’s Global Fund for Coral Reefs and marine programmes. The consultancy manages visual identity, digital content, newsletters, video, publications and asset repositories to expand engagement and communicate environmental evidence clearly.

Department: Marine and Coastal Ecosystem Unit

• Design graphics, reports, presentations, factsheets and campaign materials to approved brand standards
• Film, edit and package interviews, case studies, motion graphics and other video content
• Maintain a forward-looking social-media pipeline and produce platform-specific assets
• Design and format the quarterly digital newsletter for the Global Fund for Coral Reefs
• Upload, format and update website content and improve its visual presentation
• Lead the layout and data visualisation for the five-year midpoint report
• Maintain the photo and video repository with metadata and version control
• Design technical publications, charts and infographics for wastewater-surveillance programmes

• Advanced degree in communications and environmental programmes, or a first-level university degree with two additional years of qualifying experience
• At least two years of experience in communications and environmental programmes
• Experience working with multidisciplinary teams including local and expatriate technical experts
• Ability to plan, organise, implement and report on work
• Fluency in written and spoken English
