Overview
The Military Member will represent the OSCE Mission to Moldova in ceasefire and peacekeeping oversight, monitor incidents and report political-military developments. The role will advise mission leadership, liaise with military authorities and develop confidence-building proposals.

Responsibilities
- Represent the Mission at Joint Control Commission meetings
- Monitor the security situation and investigate incidents in the region
- Analyze political-military information and contribute to mission reporting
- Develop proposals for military confidence- and security-building measures
- Advise the Head of Mission and colleagues on military issues
Requirements
- First-level university degree in a relevant field
- At least six years of relevant professional experience
- Active or reserve military officer at Lieutenant Colonel rank, with Major potentially accepted based on experience
- Professional fluency in English and Russian
- Valid category B and C driving licences and ability to drive four-wheel-drive vehicles
- Nomination by an OSCE participating State and no nationality or permanent residence in Moldova
