Manager, Policy

Designs evidence-based vaccine, programme and funding policies that shape Gavi’s strategic direction and investment choices. The manager develops options for senior decision-makers, aligns Alliance stakeholders and translates policy priorities into practical implementation plans for country impact.

Department: Strategy, Policy & Foresight Department, Policy Team

• Develop programme, funding and vaccine policies and investment cases
• Build evidence bases and actionable recommendations for strategic priorities
• Prepare decision memos, presentations and policy documents for executives and the Board
• Coordinate inclusive technical and leadership stakeholder engagement
• Translate policy priorities into implementation plans and organisational processes
• Lead analysis of future vaccine and country-funding investment options

• Advanced degree in business administration, public health, epidemiology, medicine, public policy, economics, international development or an equivalent field
• Five to seven years of professional experience, including at least two years in programme policy development or programme strategy design
• Experience in global health, global development or the non-profit sector
• Fluency in English

• Five-year fixed-term contract
