Overview

Responsibilities
- Undertake legal research and prepare drafts of legal opinions on mandate, status, governance, privileges and immunities of IOM
- Prepare drafts of legal advice on IOM legal status and privileges and immunities
- Assist in review and drafting of host country agreements and framework agreements with UN entities
- Assist in review, drafting and interpretation of organizational regulations, rules, policies and guidelines
- Contribute to delivery of LEG outputs under annual workplan
- Attend internal and external meetings and conferences relevant to LEGPS
Requirements
- Masters degree in Public International Law or related field with 2 years relevant experience; or Bachelors degree in Law with 4 years relevant experience
- Experience in Public International Law, Law of International Organizations, Human Rights Law or International Humanitarian Law
